For the further expansion they are currently looking for a motivated Customer Support Engineer based in the head office in Belgium for at least the first years. Afterwards several international options are possible.
As Customer Support Engineer, you provide technical services to clients in the assigned region and you are responsible for the administrative and organizational follow-up of files concerning technics to provide a right and smooth customer service. Here are the following tasks and responsibilities: - You provide the helpdesk follow-up regarding customer questions regarding technical and incubational issues. - You provide proactive follow-up to obtain technical solutions within the shortest possible time span. - You become a specialist by building and managing in-depth technical expertise and basic biotechnological knowledge concerning incubators and hatchery techniques regarding HVAC. You analyze the biotechnological data in the incubator controller to locate technical defects. For this you will get the necessary education. - You build a personal and long term relationship with your clients, consisting of a rather small group of specialists. Exceptionally, a visit to the customer is necessary. - You also sign up for the registration of all technical problems and installation instructions within the department's knowledge database. - You follow the quality issues and/or draft changes through close collaboration with the customer and in consultation with the Quality and R&D department. - At a later stage, you will provide technical training to clients (on a 6-week basis) at Petersime's training center. You determine the training agenda, follow the training results and keep the courses and presentations up-to-date. - You have the option of internal retraining in the field of internal product innovations, new machines, techniques, controls, ... in this innovative specialist world. This in cooperation with R&D, in order to maximize their own specialist knowledge and apply them optimally within the organization. - You also pay attention to the administrative tasks needed to support the handling of applications in the best possible way. - You report to the Customer Support Coordinator.

- You have a technical master or bachelor degree. - You have a broad technical all-round knowledge and preferably already have experience in service-oriented technical support. But mature juniors are also considered. - You are communicative in English. Knowledge of additional languages like Dutch, French or German is a plus. - Personal qualities: accurate, eager to learn, promoter, customer oriented, proactive, flexible, you have the necessary presentation skills and you are an internal intermediator.
